We are always looking for volunteers who can give a few hours of their time each week to work in our lookout tower.
This is interesting and rewarding work and you could help save lives at sea or bring to the notice of the emergencies services those in difficulty along our coastline.

Experience is not necessary as full training is given which includes, navigation, radio communications., chart and bearing plotting, radar, first aid and other training as necessary to perform the duties.

There is nothing to be afraid of as your training is hands on both in the class room and under the supervision of the duty watch keepers.

The minimum qualification is that you're happy to work within a well disciplined team, have an interest in contributing to your local community and willing to give up two hours a week.
